A FANTASY IN THE MAKING
Will this new bailout plan truly make a difference? I am not convinced that it will. Greed will again raise its ugly head and nothing will have changed. A better plan by far is one making the email circuits just now...although its math does seems to be in error.
Seriously though, the thinking behind the plan is a far better concept for every legal citizen in the U.S. than bailing out Wall Street. What if our government instead gave us, say $40,000.00, for one to three years. How many personal debts would be cleared and free up money for those high dollar purchases needed to really boost our economy? Think about it...most people today are stretched so thinly money-wise just from putting gas into their automobiles and food on their tables that spending money for other items has completely fallen by the wayside. I don't know about your financial situation, but $40,000.00 would go a very long way to solving my own personal debts! What about you...what could or would you do...with some REAL money...not a ridiculous $1,000 tax payer bribe?
